Finding Love with a Postcard

With email, texting and Facebook, fewer people are buying, writing and mailing cards to express their heart-felt sentiments. Instead, they are writing quick, electronic messages that say so little.

It's so much easier to just wish someone a happy birthday on Facebook than to buy a card. We all have busy lives and it takes time to find the right card. Plus, we can't just sign the card, we need to write something that expresses how we feel.

We also worry that what we write is appropriate/sounds good/makes us look good/and is spelled correctly…a tall order for many (thus why texting, email and Facebook is so popular). It's a taller order when it's a card for a love interest…

I came across a fun solution. It's a postcard designed by Marc English for Marc English. Marc is looking for love and wants to increase his odds of finding love. He's taken matters into his own hands by designing a multiple-choice narrative to profess your love for him. How nice, he's making it easy for you! You will reveal your crazy/funny/serious personality in about 500 words. For the creative types, you can write in your own words…although, the multiple-choice options are too fun not to choose!

At SingleTease, we love ideas that help singles connect. This one is not only entertaining and informative, it's a great conversation starter. Kudos to Marc!

Missing Him

[written by kristin] Before an event tends to happen that I am not looking forward to, I tend to torture myself with dread even before it has occurred. Not good. Like some Sunday nights, instead of enjoying the evening, I dread that it is the last of the weekend. So here I am again, pre-dreading. I am sad and melancholy because a man that I love is moving. But of course, not for a few weeks.
