I think its fantastic when you see a typical tradition changed for the good. Sometimes I think our society gets caught in going along with the motions of what is suppose to be done, because its always been done that way. And forgetting the real purpose or meaning behind a tradition.
Take weddings for example. It typically takes place in a church, with the wedding party marching down the aisle to traditional Wagner's "Here Comes the Bride" or something in that genre. Boring. Aren't wedding suppose to be a true celebration of love?! Just attending a wedding should give you goose-bumps of happiness and excitement.
A friend of mine showed me this video on YouTube. (Of course, many times I am the last one to see something that the entire world has already seen. So if you are ones of those, just enjoy it for a second time!)

[written by kristin] Before an event tends to happen that I am not looking forward to, I tend to torture myself with dread even before it has occurred. Not good. Like some Sunday nights, instead of enjoying the evening, I dread that it is the last of the weekend. So here I am again, pre-dreading. I am sad and melancholy because a man that I love is moving. But of course, not for a few weeks.
