Last weekend, I spent four hours with some sweet animals looking for a new home. The Washington Humane Society had an adoption event at RCKNDY on U Street in DC.

Truthful Eyes

Do you know that you can tell if someone is lying to you by observing their behaviors? I had this discussion with a friend the other day. He said that if someone is using their fingers to cover their mouth when they are speaking to you, or clearing their throat alot are two indications that someone is not being honest. I decided to further investigate the topic.

Self Maintenance Between the Sexes

[written by kristin] Men have it pretty good when it comes to the minimal things they have to do to keep their physical beauty. Women on the other hand have to do a whole lot more. It can be exhausting. We spend a ton more on basic maintenance. Even though many men would say that we do all of this nonsense only for other women not men. Not sure I completely buy into that theory.

Why Do Those "In-Love" Feelings Fade After Time?

There are also other chemicals that occur when a couple decides to stay together even after the "puppy-love" stage is over. What interesting research I discovered.
